Tree Inventory Training

On behalf of the City of Newport News, we invite you to join us for a hands-on Tree Inventory Training on Thursday, July 24 from 5:30—7:00 p.m. at Newport News Park, Shelters 19 and 20.
During this training, you’ll learn how to identify and measure trees. You will also learn how to use online tools created by the City’s GIS team to collect important data in real-time on your smartphone!
Your work will directly support the City’s tree management and sustainability goals.
